Do UK citizens need any type of visas for US vacation?
My friends and myself are planning a vacation to Florida next summer and we are just doing a bit of research into what we will need and I’m not sure if you need visas for US vacations now or not.

even though it is out continent the u.s. government makes exeptions on u.k. citizens, so the awnser is no you do not need a visa to travel to the states from the u.k. hope you have a great trip!

You do not need a visa for a visit of up to 90 days under the visa waiver program. You do need to register for ESTA. See site below.
